Petrányi Wine Terrace

István Petrányi and his wife Piroska have been tied to Csopak for decades, but a long walk on the Szitahegy changed their lives forever.
Instead of the bustling village, they moved to the mountain and established a vineyard next to their house. Their fine wines attracted more and more people to their cellar and after a while they opened a small restaurant. The Petrányi Cellar has always been known for its good wines, family atmosphere, beautiful view and delicious food. Recently, however, they underwent a radical change: Ádám Mede became the restaurant’s executive chef, who together with chef Endre Ruga revamped the kitchen. An honest, very high-quality cuisine has been created here, with real flavours and good wines.
