The love of grapes, the respect for the soil, and the heritage of the Italian great-grandfather are all there in Fata Pince’s wines and Borbarátok’s dishes.
It was István Fata’s great-grandfather of Italian origins who bought the land in 1927 where the Borbarátok restaurant and guesthouse now stands, while the owner inherited his love for people and hospitality from his great-grandmother. Viniculture and hospitality, therefore, run in the family. The restaurant opened in 1989 and a guesthouse has been added to it since. The dishes here are dominated by traditional Hungarian flavours with a flare.
