Instead of the bustling village, they moved to the mountain and established a vineyard next to their house. Their fine wines attracted more and more people to their cellar and after a while they opened a small restaurant. The Petrányi Cellar has always been known for its good wines, family atmosphere, beautiful view and delicious food. Following the 2024 concept shift, the restaurant introduced an honest, high-quality bistro-style cuisine rooted in traditional bourgeois cooking, defined by authentic flavors, thoughtfully selected wines, and well-balanced portions – a direction recognized and appreciated by both industry professionals and returning guests.
