Hableány

Hableány’s old-new building blends past and present, traditional and modern. This spot is an all-year meeting point thanks to the Laposa family who dared to dream big to restore and reopen the restaurant.
The emblematic building served as an inn after the end of the 1800s. It was transformed to its current design in 1963, and underwent a complete renovation in 2019 to reopen as multifunctional space. Today, it is the centre of the Laposa Estate, a bistro, a wine bar, a restaurant, a wine shop, an open-view winery, and a champagne production plant in one. Its kitchen is a true culinary workshop, where chef Ferenc Ács and his team have combined local traditions and ingredients with novel trends to create their own modern Balaton bistro cuisine.
